ShieldArc Unveils Next Generation Cloud Application Security Service
SUNNYVALE, CA: Software security company ShieldArc announces the release of its next generation cloud application security service which provides organizations with complete visibility into their cloud applications without the use of proxies or installed software.
Currently ShieldArc supports a number of cloud applications including Box, Google Apps, Dropbox for Business, Salesforce, GitHub and Yammer, with support of Docusign. ShieldArc’s out-of-the-box support for industry standard security policies translates into maximum risk reduction with minimal involvement from users and administrators – saving companies both time and resources. It identifies sensitive information that is at risk. Risks are organized into logical categories and prioritized – enabling security personnel to see and focus on the most critical issues first. End user remediation workflows and automatic remediation tracking further reduce administrator workload. Custom policies can be defined based on an innovative “learn by example” feature.
“This release marks the third generation of ShieldArc’s service since its founding in early 2014, under the original moniker, CirroSecure,” says Vikrant Karvir, CEO of ShieldArc. “While our name may have changed, our dedication to our mission of ensuring that organizations run their businesses securely in the cloud remains the same.”
ShieldArc raised a seed round of funding in 2014 with XSeed Capital, Innovation Endeavors and Karlin Venture.
