ShipStation and DHL Express to Help e-commerce Merchants with Order Management and Shipping
AUSTIN, TX: ShipStation, a provider of web-based shipping solution to e-commerce retailers has partnered with DHL Express which offers portfolio of logistic services to integrate ShipStation’s software and DHL’s delivery expertise.
ShipStation software delivers United States Postal Service (USPS) Shipment Confirmation Acceptance Notice (SCAN) support, access to updated order status and tracking information and back up of order data. ShipStation’s mobile app ‘ShipStation Companion’ enable businesses to add tags and notes to orders, edit and verify shipping addresses and track shipments.
DHL Express is a division of postal and logistics Group, Deutsche Post DHL Group, offering a wide range of logistics solutions, international express deliveries, warehousing, customs brokerage and freight forwarding.
The integration of ShipStation and DHL Express will allow online sellers to view contract rates and print labels accordingly, saving costs. Businesses can also take advantage of: Free Electronic Signature on every package; option to include carrier insurance with any shipment; Paperless Trade Technology eliminating the need to print paper and automated customs documentation for easy international shipping.
Once the merchant fulfills the order, ShipStation will automatically notify the online stores with DHL Express shipment tracking information, simultaneously helping e-commerce merchants to reduce the amount of time spent on the order management, label creation and shipping and fulfillment process.
