ShoreTel Announces Acquisition of Corvisa for Better Cloud Communication
SUNNYVALE, CA: ShoreTel, a provider of simple hosted phone systems and unified communication (UC) solutions, announces the acquisition of Corvisa, a cloud based communication solutions from Novation Companies. Corvisa combines the powerful contact center software, business phone systems and connectivity services with more flexibility to make cloud communications better.
The acquisition enhances ShoreTel’s solutions in four key areas: Corvisa provides complementary technologies including Application Integration Tools, SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) Trunking, Standalone Cloud Contact Center and acceleration of ShoreTel's innovative architecture and product roadmap.
Corvisa’s API and standard development kits (SDKs), accelerate the third party application integration within the ShoreTel ecosystem. The SIP Trunking delivers simple transactions for customers by unlocking new revenue streams for ShoreTel’s channel partners. The Standalone Cloud Contact Center allows integration with non-ShoreTel communication solutions to expand ShoreTel’s presence in fast growing contact center market. The acceleration of ShoreTel's innovative architecture and product roadmap is brought about by highly desired technical engineers with customer facing roles.
