The Cisco Digital Ceiling framework allows building systems to enhance their energy efficiencies with further improvements in cost reduction as well as providing unique experiences for customers.

Siemon’s ConvergeIT Cabling Solutions for Intelligent Buildings coupled with Cisco's Digital Ceiling will create a transformation in building innovation that is intelligent, connected, highly secure and easy to manage. In addition, the Cisco Digital Ceiling promotes IoT through the convergence of multiple building networks-lighting, heating and cooling, IP video, and IoT sensors in an intelligent network platform. This is further facilitated by Siemon’s ConvergeIT which leverages advanced copper and fiber cabling technology for creating a unified structured cabling system. The solution also provides support for Power over Ethernet (PoE)-enabled systems such as Digital Ceiling’s PoE powered devices, thereby, ensuring energy efficiency of up to 85 percent.
