Simba Releases ODBC and JDBC Drivers for Couchbase Server 4.0
VANCOUVER, CN: Specialized in data connectivity products, Simba Technologies adds to its catalogue Simba ODBC and JDBC Drivers which support Couchbase with SQL Connecter. The newly announced drivers will also be aiding the new high performance NoSQL distributed database, Couchbase Server 4.0. With the addition of Simba ODBC and JDBC drivers, the users are provisioned with a smooth coherent connectivity with their Couchbase database and their business intelligence tools.
The newly inducted drivers add to the table a list of facilitatory advantages, some being Standards based connectivity brought in by the Simba ODBC and JDBC drivers which extend support for ODBC 3.8 and JDBC 4.0 and 4.1. They also expand Couchbase’s JSON data model to various business intelligence tools namely SAP Lumira, Tableau, Power BI, QlikView, Microstrategy and Microsoft Excel. The Simba drivers also serve the Couchbase users in attaining their NoSQL data through the innate ANSI-92 SQL query capabilities.

Capitalizing on this compatibility, data scientists can overclock the speed of Couchbase server and the flexibility of N1QL, successfully exploiting their relevant SQL-query expertise.
Along with Couchbase, Simba Technologies will be making available its connectivity drivers with connectivity solutions for others of the like SQL Server, DynamoDB, Redshift, Spark, MongoDB, Cassandra, Google BigQuery, HBase, Hive, Impala, Salesforce and SAP datasources.
