Slice Platform Brews Intelligence in Targeted Marketing through e-receipts

FREMONT, CA: Slice, a provider of smarter solutions for retailers for online shopping, has made its API available for web publishers. Through this API integration, retailers can have the access to relevant purchase graph insights, detailed rich data about aggregate buying patterns across merchants and categories providing a rich data set.

With Slice platform, the user has to add his email account(s) where merchant notifications are sent. The emails related to shopping such as order confirmations, shipping notifications, and e-receipts from in-store purchases are processed by Slice. Purchase graph readings are then created out of relevant details across two million merchants for purchases that are made almost a decade ago.

Slice API enables web publishers to create new features and functionalities by based on a visitor’s online purchase profile. Businesses such as IFTTT, TheFind and Trov are making the most of Slice platform through its Purchase Graph insights.

IFTTT creates a Google calendar event for an expected delivery and notifies customers post delivery in an automated manner. TheFind offers greater personalized shopping experience using the shopper’s online purchase history in their email account.  Trov leverages Slice platform to add people’s purchases to their Trov through email receipts automatically.
