NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA: In order to meet the demand of increasing number of environments requiring multiple HD signals, SmartAVI, innovator of digital signage and AV signal distribution, has launched its new extender racks- the RK8-HDX-POE and the RK8-HLX-500. Both allow users to merge multiple extenders into one convenient box with a single power source.

The company has developed the racks to avoid the frustration and unmanageable state of multiple extenders, each with their own cords and power supply. They allow users to route multiple High- Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) signals through one box using eight inputs and eight outputs for a simpler, cleaner method of signal extension.

With its 8-Port HDMI, Infrared (IR), and power extender over LAN, the RK8-HDX-POE is able of transmitting high-definition 1080p video up to 250 feet from the source using HDBaseT and POE technology. While, the RK8-HLX-500 is an 8-Port HDMI and IR extender over LAN capable of transmitting HDMI signals up to 500 ft via LAN. It is chainable, which allows users to add thousands of feet of extension for the most rigorous environments.

Made perfectly for industrial long-range workstation isolation, information terminals, home theaters, airport installations and educational settings, which require remote displays, both the extender racks provide an ideal audio/video solution for a wide variety of applications. They are plug-and-play ready, user-friendly and cost-effective.
