SmarterBetterCities' 3D Visual Online Platform CloudCities Now Supports SketchUp And Google Earth
FREMONT, CA: The 3D web startup SmarterBetterCities has launched its latest release of CloudCities with full support to Google Earth and SketchUp. The upgrade facilitates effective creation and publication of 3D models across multiple platforms with abilities to import files from Google Earth (.kmz), SketchUp (.skp) and various other 3D software tools. The platform is designed for easy sharing of 3D content on websites, blogs, social media and mobile devices.
The newly added functionalities include a live scene editor that edits scene configuration and displays the results immediately. Users can build camera animations of the scene that are accessible by the push of a play button. With the new release, CloudCities now support direct embedding of 3D scenes into users’ website. It also supports the embed customization. Additionally, users can also add a search bar to their scenes. The results of searches are highlighted in 3D.

It also offers various internal and external data sources that can be integrated into the visualizations. Further, users can add dashboard visualizations and layer controls with a few mouse clicks.
SmarterBetterCities’ CloudCities is available in three subscription formats. The free version provides all features and up to 2 scenes. Cloudcities Pro is available for a price per month with all features and unlimited scenes, white label embed, and priority email support. The enterprise version is an upgraded version of Pro, with additional features such as Customize logo and colors and Priority phone support.
