WINDSOR, CT: SS&C Technologies, a provider of highly specialized software, software-enabled services, and Software-as-a-Service solutions for the global financial services industry, has been chosen by Canadian financial planning firm, Nicola Wealth Management. The Canadian organization has selected SS&C for its range of fund administration services.

Companies are looking to reduce the scope of their technological footprint, including streamlining both the number of solutions they possess and vendors they are working with. However, SS&C Technologies’ end-to-end and fully integrated solutions are specially designed for customers to operate efficiently in capital markets, money markets, and treasury activities. Bill Stone, Chairman and CEO, SS&C Technologies has identified the potential prospects in the Canadian market with the increasingly complex regulatory and operational environments in Canada.

Nicola Wealth Management is one the most prominent independent wealth management firms within the Canadian space, with nearly $4Bn worth of assets under management (AUM) and over 130 employees sprawled across Canada—including Vancouver and Toronto. SS&C is all set to offer NWM a wide range of administration services including fund accounting and investor services. The wealth management giant will be at the receiving end of SS&C’s expertise and service on finance and fund administration. Additionally, NWM’s technology platform encompassing 15 funds and four limited partnerships will be supported by SS&C Technology.

SS&C Technologies has consistently gained a distinct reputation for developing financial management software that demonstrates its unrivaled expertise and professionalism. The company has also been delivering a comprehensive range of services including cash management, regulatory services and risk services amongst others that help manage and account for customers’ investments.

Upon the engagement, the CEO had said that he was delighted to add NWM to the growing list of Canadian clients. “We remain focused on delivering top quality proactive outsourcing and cloud services to address the varied business needs of our customers,” adds Tom McMackin, Senior Vice President, SS&C Technologies.
