StorageCraft Revamps ShadowControl with Version 3.6

DRAPER, UT: StorageCraft Technology, a back up and disaster recovery software firm brings out a new iteration of ShadowControl- a centralized management console for IT environments, version 3.6.  The latest release enables IT professionals to streamline monitoring and managing backup jobs. Another product from StorageCraft—ShadowProtect shields ShadowControl.

“The addition of the new features in ShadowControl v3.6 is the direct result of feedback from our partners,” says Matt Urmston, Chief Evangelist and Director of Product Management, StorageCraft.

The prime feature of the software—Endpoint list view has been revamped with updated column to get a complete view of subscribed endpoints and backup jobs. It also lets users to design a custom column that displays data point you choose. The latest feature allows users to select multiple end points to unsubscribe endpoints, activate endpoints, a backup job schedule on multiple endpoints simultaneously from the endpoint list view.

ShadowControl v3.6 now comes with advanced license pool management feature that offers the ability to assign licenses in the License Pool to a specific enterprise to restrict them from using only through endpoints in that organization. It also includes delete option to remove one or more licenses from the License Pool.

Furthermore, it consists of Push-install option that lets manual operation for StorageCraft ShadowProtect SPX and option to configure proxy settings while installing the ShadowControl appliance.

In addition, StorageCraft’s backup and disaster recovery solutions include the highly regarded StorageCraft ShadowProtect software line for Windows and Linux systems on-premise and virtual environments. The company’s solution has transformed from a single back up or recovery product to a robust end-to-end disaster recovery solution.
