CHATTANOOGA, TN: SIGNiX, an electronic signature service provider recently announced that in collaboration with its partner Micro Strategies, the company has consolidated its patented cloud-based Independent E-Signature solution with SharePoint—a browser-based collaboration and document management platform that serves as Microsoft’s content management system. The integration mainly allows groups to set up a centralized, password protected space for document sharing. Other benefits include efficiency, cost reduction and enhanced data management, attributes that are important to any life sciences company.

SIGNiX’s scalable, cost-effective solution is applicable across the entire security spectrum of transactions within life sciences, while retaining the ease-of use necessary for broad adoption. Every SIGNiX electronic signature is completely independent. The comprehensive audit trail attached to SIGNiX e-signatures provides verifiable evidence of the intent to sign along with information about when documents are viewed, when users are authenticated and more. Further, all documents and all versions of the documents are tamper evident. With SIGNiX, documents can be prepared and uploaded easily for signature.

“Because the evidence backing a SIGNiX e-signature is embedded in the signed document, with no need to link back to SIGNiX, there is no expiration date on the e-signature. It can be validated in 5, 10, 25 years or more,” said Jay Jumper, President and CEO of SIGNiX. “We offer a digital signature that is fully independent and meets U.S. and international regulations for FDA and EMA compliance. Collaborating with MicroStrategies on this project has been effortless. We are looking forward to all the opportunities this partnership has to offer, and we are especially thrilled to have our product integrated with Microsoft’s premier content management system.”

“With this integration, SharePoint users will be able to get critical documents securely signed online on any device at anytime,” said Adam Storch, Vice President of business solutions at Micro Strategies.
