Supermicro Unveils Next-Gen UP Solutions for Single Core Processor Platforms

SAN JOSE, CA: Supermicro, a provider of server solutions, unveils its latest X11 generation UP systems and solutions with increased performance and efficiency levels for their single core processor platforms. The latest server solutions eye a broad range of customers in cloud computing, web hosting, embedded server and security appliances and network appliances. The new solutions will now support Intel Xeon Processor E3-1200 v5 family.

The X11 generation UP systems and solutions comprise of new workstations and motherboards that support DDR4 memory, USB 3.1, Dual 10GBase-T and Quad Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports. The product line supports SATA DOM (Disk on Module), short-depth and ultra short depth appliance optimized chassis, high efficiency power supplies with redundancy and Battery Backup Power (BBP) options.

They also support IPMI 2.0, VHD, M.2 Mini PCI-E connector, PCI-E 3.0*16 slots to house GPU/Xeon Phi cards and Supermicro WIO (Wide I/O)flexible expansion slot capability. The latest X11 UP systems are complemented by Supermicro Server Management Utilities, Supermicro Onsite Service and Support and customizable Service Level Agreements.

The list of announced System solutions includes SYS-5039-IL; SYS-1019S-M2; SYS-5019S-M2 and SYS-5029S-TN2. The company’s motherboard solution comprises of X11SAE; X11SAT/ X11SAT-F; X11SAE-F; X11SAE-M and X11SSZ-TLN4F.
