Switchvox 6 from Digium all set for Enterprise Deployments

This latest version of Switchvox will offer an upgraded call handling, better performance and an enhanced end user experience at lower costs compared to previous versions. Apart from being cost effective, SwitchVox 6 offers businesses of small and medium sizes with extensively unified communication experience.

SwitchVox 6 provides a view into real time call details which help and enable organizations in decision making and creating a better customer environment. In addition, the latest release has also achieved “VMware ready status” through various tests and is supported on VMware vSphere, therefore can be introduced with the expectation of positive outcomes.
The disaster recovery and adaptability tools from VMware help administrators to adjust system assets which are dynamic, by enabling a Switchvox 6 phone system to blend along with the company. The combination of Switchvox and VMware vSphere High Availability can ensure the deployment of company level failover and utilization of snapshots can enable mass backup and data restoring. "The release of Switchvox 6 marks a milestone in the evolution of Switchvox by leveraging the capabilities in the latest version of Asterisk and the ongoing contributions of the Asterisk community to introduce new, powerful features,” said Kramer.
Asterisk 13, the most upgraded open source communication platform forms the basis of Switchvox 6, which enriches the performance and call handling. Also, with the enhanced integration for Salesforce.com via OpenCTI standard, the customer information will be easily scalable and assessable to salesforce.com during the instant incoming calls. “Switchvox 6 enables the use of a new, real-time engine that opens the door to more advanced integrations such as Salesforce.com and other CRM tools," added Kramer.
The availability of Digium’s Switchvox 6 is generally for Switchvox Cloud and Switchvox on-premises deployments, but the companies have the flexibility to select between the two. The on-premises service can be deployed through Switchvox Appliance or VMware and the features and characteristics are included in every form.
