SyncDog Partners with Notify to Bring Viable EMM Solution
FREMONT, CA: New partnership has been announced by leading ISV SyncDog Inc with MDM solutions provider Notify Technology. Delivering a deeper functionality for MDM, the collaboration would ensure defense standard levels of security to Notify’s Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) products through SyncDog’s SentinelSecure™ containerized workspace. IT managers can now achieve secure mobility management across iOS, Android, and Windows mobile devices and tablets. It was also highlighted that the end product would be priced considerably lower than the current market quotes.
The SentinelSecure™ data security solution, as SyncDog claims, delivers defense-grade (FIPS 140-2, AES 256-bit) secure mobile device partitions or “containers” that can secure emails/contacts, calendar items, IM apps, Internet browsers, mobile file stores and other business apps provisioned on personal devices to be used in a BYOD or COPE (corporate owned personally enabled) setting.
“This partnership brings SyncDog full circle to our goal of delivering a viable EMM solution at a fraction of the cost current providers is offering,” said Jonas Gyllensvaan, SyncDog CEO and founder. “Lack of competition amongst EMM vendors is a main contributor to the soaring cost of secure mobility solutions that lack deep functionality, leaving little motivation to change. This partnership provides the marketplace with cost-effective EMM functionality in a much shorter services engagement to deploy.” he added.
SyncDog was shortlisted to be one among CIO Review magazine’s 20 most promising BYOD solution providers of 2015. The company also announced participation with Mobility-as-a-Service provider and partner Kaonsoft at the Mobile World Congress Conference in Barcelona, Spain, February 22-25, 2016.
Notify Technology is an Ohio based ISV specializing in wireless mobility solutions and services. Founded in 1994, the company has office in San Francisco and New York. Notify is an official Apple iPhone Enterprise Development Partner, Android Development Partner, and Windows Phone Development Partner. “We are excited to be able to offer a very competitive Enterprise Mobility solution combining the functionally of the Notify and SyncDog product lines,” said Paul DePond, president and founder of Notify Technology.
