Synology Delivers NVR216 Compact NVR Solution for Easy Surveillance
FREMONT, CA: To address the issue of space, Synology, provider of DiskStation NAS, has launched the NVR216 compact NVR solution. The new solution is ideal for small shops, offices and other public places, reports Lyle Smith for Storage Review.
Furnished with 1080p HDMI output, it enables users to directly connect to a monitor for easy surveillance and they can manage cameras and recording through this solution.
Major features of the solution are it is available in both 4 or 9-channel configuration and each channel can run at 720p/30FPS for smooth video feedback; users can expand it to four drives when leveraging the DX213 expansion unit that offers the new NVR solution a “future proof” build. It also supports the DS cam app and gives several notification settings to keep users notified and alerted with the help of Surveillance station.
Moreover, the solution is available for both iOS and Android and enables users to Live View, playback and browse through recorded events via a timeline bar. The NVR216 compact NVR solution’s prominent specifications are its CPU architecture that is of thirty-two bit; its CPU frequency is dual core 1.0 GHz and has system memory of one GB DDR3.
