Talena Partners DataStax to Enhance DataStax Enterprise
SANTA CLARA, CA: Talena, provider of Big Data Availability Management, has joined hands with DataStax, supplier of Apache Cassandra to the enterprise, to enhance DataStax Enterprise (DSE).
DSE gives enterprises a secure, fast, always-on database that remains operationally simple when scaled in a single datacenter or across multiple datacenters and clouds. It includes Visual Query Tool, Visual Management Console and DataStax certified drivers and related projects as its tools. It highlights core security and enterprise security features, built-in automatic management services, integrated enterprise search, integrated streaming, real-time, batch analytics, external Hadoop integration, in-memory feature, workload management, easy migration of RDBMS and log data, certified software updates and certified platform support.
The partnership enables Talena to enhance DSE with corresponding modern data management processes, like coarse backup and recovery, as well as test/dev management as applied to web-scale applications.
Also, based on the open source Apache Cassandra project, the DataStax database platform is used by businesses like, Adobe, Intuit, Netflix, eBay, Target and Safeway.
“An organization’s data assets are increasingly fundamental to business operations, and DataStax Enterprise is a big part of this shift. As Big Data applications grow in size and scope, companies need to rethink the data management architecture required to support their application SLA goals. The Talena solution offers Cassandra and DataStax Enterprise customers universal data availability across the full lifecycle of their applications,” comments Nitin Donde, CEO and Founder of Talena.
