Thankful, an AI-driven customer service platform is ready for expansion with the completion of $12 Million in series A funding.

FREMONT, CA: Thankful, an AI platform driving the customer service revolution, has raised a $12 million Series A funding round led by Alpha Edison, bringing it out of stealth mode. Bonfire, Ten-One-Ten, Greycroft, Omega, and Miramar are among some other investors.

Thankful's 400 percent year-over-year growth since its inception in 2018 is partly because to its superior intelligence, which can address enormous volumes of client problems across all written customer care channels, including email, chat, social media, in-app, and SMS.

Thankful has quietly been at the vanguard of the industry, trusted by businesses like Crate & Barrel, FabFitFun, MeUndies, Morphe, and Bombas, who lead the globe in customer experience. Thankful will be able to expand their enterprise company and continue to reinvent how customer experience may progress from simple problem resolution to complicated, personalized relationship-building as a result of this round of funding.

"Thankful stood out to us because it's the only customer support software that’s on the customers’ side - and we know from our experience that will always be the winning side,” said Robey Miller, Partner at Alpha Edison. “What attracted us most was the traction they achieved in a short time, and the vision of turning customer service from a cost center to revenue driver.”

Thankful has become a go-to partner for the world's largest helpdesks, including Zendesk, Kustomer, and Gladly, because its innovative technology recognizes what consumers want and delivers the solutions they require.

“Thankful’s level of intelligent customer service engagement was deeper than anything we’d seen before, and in service, understanding the customer is critical.” said Bonfire Partner Jim Andleman.

“We are so grateful to our investors and thrilled that they share our mission of giving every customer access to exceptional service by providing every business the technology to deliver it,” said Thankful AI CEO, Ted Mico. “This financing will help us to continue to lead the transformation of customer service into an effective sales and marketing channel.”
