The City Of Naples, Florida Initiates Paybyphone Parking Pilot Program
Visitors to the city of Naples, Florida, will now have an improved parking experience at Lowdermilk Park and 5th Avenue South beach accesses.
FREMONT, CA: We are excited to welcome Naples to the long list of Florida cities offering contactless parking services," says Carmen Donnell, Managing Director, North America. "Now, visitors to the City of Naples can enjoy paying for parking with the PayByPhone app on their personal devices. We have a long history of partnering with communities throughout Florida, and we are confident that drivers in Naples will love using PayByPhone." PayByPhone, a leading global provider of mobile parking payment solutions, is launching a safe and convenient parking payment experience in the city of Naples. Through the arrangement, tourists will have access to nearly 230 on-demand parking spaces at two beach areas in the City of Naples.
PayByPhone facilitates the shift to cashless parking payments. The software is easy to use, and payments for parking may be performed in three simple steps. In addition, drivers can elect to get text messages on their mobile phones informing them that their parking session is about to expire, and they can extend their sessions remotely using the app or a wearable device such as an Apple Watch.
“The new parking initiative is part of a pilot program designed to enhance customer convenience and commitment to provide value-added service for visitors. Whether you are reading a book on the beautiful white sand beaches or strolling along the Gulf coast, PayByPhone completes your journey with no disruptions,” says Shalini Diaz, Director of Enterprise Sales.
Naples is recognized for its magnificent beaches, tropical temperature, abundant golf courses, upscale shopping, and great restaurants. Naples has ranked in the top ten of numerous surveys, such as One of the Happiest Cities and One of the Best Places to Live in the United States. The relaxed island lifestyle attracts both tourists and locals. A parking app streamlines the parking process, allowing visitors to Naples to see the city's world-class attractions without worrying about parking time limits or driving around blocks to find a parking spot.
"For the City of Naples, offering mobility parking payments for the first time is a game-changer. We're delighted to bring contactless parking to Naples and look forward to working closely with PayByPhone to offer convenience, value, and choice to visitors," says City Finance Director Gary Young. "We look forward to emulating the same great success PayByPhone has demonstrated with neighboring Florida cities and allowing our community to focus on enjoying what the City has to offer."
