MISSISSAUGA, ON: ThoughtSpeed eCommerce, multi-lingual Web Order Management System (OMS) provider has revealed that their 7-year partnership service with the Canadian Healthcare Supply Chain industry is now further extended to 3 years with a mutual 2-year option past September 2018. The association is under harmony since June 2009.
Being committed to distribute the latest, simplified technology, ThoughtSpeed streamlines the procurement and logistics of their clients. Through the deal, the firm has offered its “web-facing” order management application and portal to Canadian hospitals on behalf of Canadian Pharmaceutical Distribution Network (CPDN), and also to almost 22 of its drug manufacturer members of CPDN globally.
“We look forward to continuing to use this leading edge web-based Order Management System in support of our business while offering a positive ordering experience for our clients,” says Sav DiPasquale, President, CPDN. To enable flawless execution of Order-to-Cash Management with unparalleled reliability, scalability, and security healthcare professionals and practitioners all around Canada can access ThoughtSpeed’s multi-lingual Web OMS.
Maintaining good relations with Lynden International Logistics, CPDN’s strategic partner, ThoughtSpeed could come up with an ideal solution, eHealthSys that is custom-made to fit CPDN’s expectations. eHealthsys widens the market and sales range of all suppliers and manufacturers serving the healthcare marketplace. Deployed in over 1000 locations and 800 hospitals, the application efficiently handles real-time inventory, order validation, contract pricing, and order tracking visibility leveraging ThoughtSpeed’s unique “bolt-on” technology. The technology accords seamless integration with the existing ERP applications such as SAP, JD Edwards and ORACLE, and industrial Warehouse Management Solutions (WMS).
Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) permits placing orders both from legacy systems as well as human input. Reports can be generated up to 12 months of order activity. Real-time reporting, analytics and dashboards comprise some additional and fancy features worth noting. The latest Demand Planning and Forecasting Module launched in March 2016, is considered to give an edge to the CPDN members.
