ThreatStream FED Exchange Enable Federal Government a Secured Threat Intelligence Exchange
FREMONT, CA: In today’s evolving cyber threat landscape, security intelligence is extremely critical in establishing an effective security program. Threat intelligence enables organizations to identify and assess their risks, and implement effective countermeasures. ThreatStream, an enterprise class threat intelligence platform provider, announces ThreatStream FED exchange for federal government that enables civilians, defense departments, intelligence communities and government sector customers to research, operationalize and collaborate on cyber adversaries and indicators of compromise (IOC).
ThreatStream FED Exchange will enable cross-industry sharing of threat indicators between public and private sector organizations to help defend the adversaries. The company enables federal government analysts to access ThreatStream Optic platform to exchange intelligence.
ThreatStream Optic is a SaaS-based cyber threat intelligence platform that manages the lifecycle of threat intelligence via integration across an enterprise's security infrastructure. It automates the process to operationalize risk-scored and actionable threat intelligence into the existing security infrastructure.
The company’s federal clients will now have flexibility to deploy the ThreatStream Optic platform within multiple security enclaves while protecting the research and distribution of private threat intelligence.
The company allows a configurable orchestration of IOCs within enterprise security architecture, enabling organizations to defend against known indicators and actor behaviors. ThreatStream helps the federal market to embrace Threat Intelligence Platform capabilities and adopt threat intelligence sharing policies and practices.
“There's an overwhelming amount of threat intelligence available on the market today. It’s important for organizations to understand the impact levels associated with indicators of compromise (IOCs) while working to defend information their industry partners share,” said Colby DeRodeff, Chief Strategy Officer, ThreatStream. “The ThreatStream Optic Platform aggregates multi-sourced threat intelligence from public sector, commercial APP Store vendors and shared customer submissions.”
