Tintri and Promark to Distribute Vm-aware Storage

VM-aware storageMOUNTAIN VIEW, CA: Tintri, an industry leader in the production of VM-aware storage (VAS) for virtualization and cloud environments has announced the signing of a distribution agreement with Promark Technology, a firm specializing in Ingram Micro. According to the terms of this agreement, Promark’s portfolio of resellers and system integrators across North America will have access to Tintri VAS solutions.

This partnership between the two companies will allow Tintri to gain more exposure for its highly differentiated storage solutions.

The simplified storage management capabilities provided by Tintri have acquired a reputation for being scalable as well. The addition of Tintri’s all-flash platforms and innovative software solutions will eventually streamline Promark’s existing portfolio of technologies.

Tintri’s VM-aware storage file system has the capability to isolate every virtual machine without generating conflict over resources, as is the case with LUN and volume-based storage. Storage actions like replication, cloning, and analytics gain more visibility and control when a client uses Tintri’s VM-aware storage system.

Tintri’s has made some latest changes to its global Partner Program, which includes development in training and enablement programs, market augmented funds, channel encouragements, and innovative software program pricing—facilitating partners to expand Tintri business.
