Topcon Introduces Enhanced Version of its ScanMaster Software
FREMONT, CA: Topcon Positioning Group, developer and manufacturer of precision positioning equipment, has recently introduced the latest version- ScanMaster v3.05, crafted to handle larger point clouds as commonly collected with the GLS-2000. The company has ventured from open-field construction projects to isolated surveying sites and from rolling farmland to inner city utility projects.
To provide a smoother experience, the latest version includes memory overflow improvements when the operator creates large point clouds and views wide images. Moreover, the cloud-to-cloud registration functionality allows practitioners using third-party scanners to take advantage of the efficient workflow.
The software continues to be backward compatible with earlier scanner models including the GLS-1000 and GLS-1500. Additionally, the upgraded version is available at no charge to users with current Topcon Enterprise Solutions accounts.
“The point density display settings have also been modified and optimized for easy adjustment depending on instances when faster performance or better quality is more desirable,” says Charles Rihner, Vice President, Topcon GeoPositioning Group.
