Toshiba Launches Upgraded Hard Disk Drives
FREMONT, CA: Toshiba expands its profile of hard drive space by introducing four new Hard Disk Drives (HDDs) that address higher storage needs reports Lyle Smith for Storage Review. The new series include the X300, P300, E300 and L200 series. The new lineups include three desktop and one mobile option with up to 6TB of storage. All the models are compatible with Windows, Mac and Linux.
Toshiba X300 Series, which is a 3.5 inch desktop internal HDD is built for gaming and graphics. It aims at extreme performance and reliability to handle intense desktop computing with data protection features and comes with a two year standard warranty. The P300 series is ideal for high performance users that run high storage applications and operates on 7,200 rpm. It offers storage up to 3 TB to accommodate large files featuring data protection technology.
The E300 series is designed for reliable performance and low power management ideal for improving the everyday computer performance. It uses adaptive power modes that conserve power and reducepower consumption. The E300 series can capacitate up to 3 TB of storage. The L200 offers quality mobile computing and provides up to 1 TB storage. This series comes with a three year standard limited warranty and extends mobile storage capacity.
