Transport Works US Opts for Cloud Logistics TMS to Speed up Growth
FREMONT, CA: In order to accelerate its rapid expansion in the U.S. marketplace, Transport Works US, the US division of Australian third party logistics (3PL) leader Transport Works has recently chosen the Cloud Logistics’ Transportation Management System (TMS).
“We’re poised for extraordinary growth in 2016,” said Drew Uzupis, CTO of Transport Works. “In order to best support that growth, we needed a TMS that could be deployed in only a few weeks and support the massive volume we’re expecting from day one. The Cloud Logistics solution is all of that and more. It will help us offer the best of service and visibility to our customers.”
To immediately support the high volume LTL shipping requirements of a major industrial manufacturer, Transport Works US will leverage Cloud Logistics. The solution will lower freight costs through carrier selection while greatly improving associate productivity. Additionally, Transport Works will automate both customer invoicing and carrier invoice matching through the use of sophisticated business rules for buy-side and sell-side rating.
Mark Nix, CEO of Cloud Logistics added, “Third party logistics providers are an important part of our own growth plans at Cloud Logistics. Partnering with the industry’s next generation of leaders such as Transport Works US helps us stay on the cutting edge of technology while engaging in some of the most exciting projects in the market. We are thrilled and fortunate to be working with Transport Works US.”
