Trend Micro Deep Security Earns VCE Validation
DALLAS, TX: Trend Micro announces Trend Micro Deep Security is certified as a VCE validation ready solution through the VCE Technology Alliance Partner (TAP) program catering to converged and hyper-converged systems.
VCE Technology Alliance Partner program is designed for independent software vendors, hardware manufacturers, virtual appliance vendors and other technology providers to simplify and accelerate their solutions for deployment with VCE Vblock Systems.
Vblock Systems delivers efficiency and business agility of virtualization and cloud computing. It provides cost effective and rapid deployment by offering pre-configured infrastructure from Cisco, EMC and VMware delivering compute, network, storage, data protection and virtualization delivered as a single product with unified support.
Deep Security provides security for physical, virtual and cloud servers from a single comprehensive platform, featuring reporting capabilities and centralized administration. It helps to defend against vulnerabilities such as Shellshock and Heartbleed. It also enables customers to scale securely without compromising on performance and agility.
VCE Validation Ready and Vblock Ready certifications enable mutual channel partners and customers to accelerate adoption of Vblock Systems while leveraging Deep Security to protect their workloads.
“We are excited to strengthen our partnership with VCE through the VCE Validation Ready program as we continue our history of providing best-of-breed protection from Deep Security, a comprehensive security platform, to protect the leading converged and hyper-converged systems in the world,” said Partha Panda, VP, global channels and strategic alliances, Trend Micro. “With Deep Security, VCE Vblock System customers can focus on their business rather than worrying about their IT Infrastructure with the peace of mind that they are protected by the market leader in server security.”
