Trilio Data Releases TrilioVault 2.0 for OpenStack
AUSTIN, TX: Trilio Data, a provider of Business Assurance Platform for IT organizations and cloud based firms, announces the availability of TrilioVault 2.0 for a scalable data protection service for OpenStack cloud.
TrilioVault is a data protection, backup and disaster recovery solution that provides consistent self-service, multi-tenant, and policy-based comprehensive backup and recovery of workloads running in OpenStack. The solution obtains environmental points such as application, operating system, compute, network, configurations, security groups, data and metadata of an environment in real time. The captured data is in the form of snapshots and can be contained in a numerous storage environments like NFS, Swift and third party arrays.
The Data Protection-as-a-Service platform enables organizations to migrate legacy applications and workload into production environments through a single-click recovery. The single-click recovery feature helps businesses in improving Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPO) along with assuring that any backup copy can be restored with one click irrespective of its complexity. The single-click process evaluates the target platform and restores the copy once the target platform passes validation successfully. In addition to single-click, TrilioVault’s Selective Restore feature provides enormous flexibility with the restore process, thus not limiting the user to same virtualization platform, hypervisors, or network.
“With increasingly complex and critical IT environments, companies are looking for ways to fully protect their business, while at the same time providing easier and faster recovery times,” says Murali Balcha, CTO and Co- Founder, Trilio Data.
