TSO Logic Launches the First Ever Commercially Available Energy Metrics Dashboard for Non-Techies
LAS VEGAS, NV: TSO Logic, a provider of energy efficiency software for data centers, has launched the first commercially available dashboard, Data Center Efficiency Console that provide metrics for developing operational and energy efficiency.
Data Center Efficiency Console, which is integrated with TSO Logic’s Application-Aware Power Management software solution, that help companies to cut their energy costs and environmental impact through deep-level visibility and control over power consumption in datacenters, allows C-level executives and IT staff to use business metrics through a sharable widget- style dashboard. With the help of this console, the executives get information about application performance, power consumption, and operating costs and make decisions to improve business performance.
Some key metrics like cost per transaction, power usage by power source, average utilization levels, revenue per server, cost per user, and transactions per kilowatt-hour are measured by the dashboard. This tool is very useful for companies that depend heavily on data centers but aren't necessarily in the technology business.
“I started TSO Logic knowing that there had to be a better way to collect metrics and manage energy costs. The DEC is a game-changer for the data center industry because for the first time, executives will have access to the insights they need to better control their data centers power costs and energy waste. By combining our automated power control with application-level power metrics, I anticipate that we can save half or more on server power costs,” said Aaron Rallo, Founder and CEO, TSO Logic.
