Businesses will benefit from the easy integration of voice telephony right into their current Microsoft Teams install base with OneVoice for Operator Connect.

FREMONT, CA: “We are delighted to deepen our relationship with Microsoft through this global launch and integrate our pan-African communications and technology capability directly into Microsoft Teams. Together, our two companies continue to lead digital transformation across the African continent with innovative solutions that empower every person, business and community to do more,” states Nic Rudnick, Group CEO of Liquid Intelligent Technologies. Liquid Intelligent Technologies, a prominent pan-African technology company has been named a launch partner for Microsoft's new Operator Connect for Microsoft Teams. Liquid's OneVoice platform allows Microsoft customers all around the world to effortlessly integrate regulatory-compliant calling plans in South Africa, Zambia, Kenya, Zimbabwe, Uganda, and Rwanda, all of which can be started from the Microsoft Teams Admin Centre.

In Teams, Operator Connect allows for seamless PSTN (Public Switched Telephone Network) phone services. Businesses will benefit from the easy integration of voice telephony right into their current Teams install base with OneVoice for Operator Connect. Furthermore, Liquid’s flat-rate calling plans save money and prevent bill shock while enhancing control and reducing fraud and risk, which is especially important as employees continue to work remotely. Because it is a cloud-based solution, there is no need for hardware, which lowers costs and allows for immediate deployment.

Liquid OneVoice for Operator Connect makes use of the Liquid network and geo-redundant speech core, which is powered by Metaswitch's cloud-native voice switches, which Microsoft just bought. As a licensed operator, Liquid maintains local regulatory compliance while providing a cost-effective flat-rate domestic calling package.

Liquid will continue to build its OneVoice platform in order to suit its clients' modern communication needs across Africa. OneVoice for Operator Connect will soon be available in additional significant markets.
