Unfolding the New Feature of Tableau - Noetix Generator
AUSTIN, TX: Magnitude Software, provider of Enterprise Information Management (EIM) introduces a solution denominated ‘Noetix Generator’ for Tableau users to perform analysis and reporting on data within Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS). The Solution expedites the process of integrating, managing and analyzing information to enhance decision making while reducing the operational cost and risk.
Oracle EBS is an enterprise application designed for efficient transactions. Business Intelligence vendors accelerate user-driven reporting from enterprise applications by providing report templates. The tools formerly required manual effort to map the data into business terminology to find relevant data for users.
Noetix Generator enhances direct access to EBS data through a transaction system via NoetixViews. NoetixViews allows organizations to perform operational reporting and ad-hoc analysis for Oracle enterprise applications. Noetix Analytics simplifies the process of implementing enterprise data warehouse through Noetix Platform and other business intelligence tools including Oracle BI, Oracle Discoverer, IBM Cognos BI, SAP Business Objects, and Microsoft BI with rich metadata of NoetixViews and Noetix Analytics.
The key features of Tableau administrators include standardized, business-friendly access to Oracle EBS data via the Noetix connector for tableau; securing connectivity to Oracle EBS data through user’s existing accounts via the Noetix ODBC driver; simplifying administration of multiple business intelligence tools with minimal IT involvement.
The features available for Tableau users consist of simplified self-service access to the Oracle EBS data; business friendly names for view and table columns; pre-defined joins and view relationships and hierarchies.
“Noetix is the industry expert at delivering simplified mappings of the data structures within Oracle EBS in the form of business views and analytics models. Noetix Generator unlocks the power of Tableau, providing simple, intuitive access to rich business metadata for operational and strategic reporting” says Jay Shipley, Senior Director of Engineering, Magnitude Software.
