UNICOM Engineering Delivers High Performance Appliance for the Network and Communications Infrastructure

The Unicom Engineering S-1200 R4 is a 1U rackmount platform that offers entry level server-class performance in an appliance solution aims at network and communications infrastructure. Appliance features single 8-core Intel C2758 or 2-Core Intel C2358 communications processor supporting motherboards with Intel QuickAssist Technology and up to 32GB DDR3 SDRAM. The S-1200 R4 comprises Intel Silvermont low power SoC microarchitecture supporting two enterprise-class SATA drives that enable seamless performance of applications. The appliance ensures quality and reliability making it suitable for security and network applications.
The new S-650 R4 is a set-top box designed solution featuring Intel Silvermont SoC microarchitecture with single 8-core Intel C2758 or 2-Core Intel C2358 communications processor with Intel QuickAssist Technology and 16GB DDR3 SDRAM. Enterprise-class 2.5 inch SATA hard drive ensures data quality and reliability enabling to host and manage branch office and remote applications that require advanced network computing and connectivity in a low-profile, low-cost, purpose built box. Both new appliances support integrated bypass LAN ports to enable a more complete appliance solution.
