UnitedHealthcare Administers Medicaid Beneficiaries with Its New Health4Me Mobile App
MINNETONKA, MN: UnitedHealthcare, a UnitedHealth Group company, releases its new mobile app Health4Me for Medicaid members distributed in 17 states across the U.S. This enables the benefactors of the plan to access their vital health information anytime, anywhere.
Medicaid is basically a social health care program for families and individuals with low income and limited resources. Through this app people enrolled in UnitedHealthcare Medicaid plans can more easily manage their health benefits and keep a track of their health system. The app allows users to access personal coverage health details, including a digital ID card, plan summary and member handbook.
“We are empowering consumers with valuable, personalized health information that enables them to more effectively navigate the health care system and access clinical support anytime, anywhere,” states Brett Edelson, Vice President, UnitedHealthcare’s Medicaid business.
Reviewing care history, tracking processed claims, locating nearby physicians, hospitals and medical facilities and obtaining health information from a nurse is now possible wherever and whenever with the aid of Health4Me app.
“UnitedHealthcare Medicaid beneficiaries can easily manage their health care, while at home or on the go, with the Health4Me app,” says Austin Pittman, CEO, United Healthcare’s Medicaid business. “More people now have important information about their health coverage at their fingertips, helping them make more informed decisions regarding their care.”
