Upland Software Recognized as Visionary by Gartner for IT Project and Portfolio Management
AUSTIN, TX: Upland Software, a provider of cloud-based enterprise work management applications, has been recognized as ‘Visionary’ in Gartner’s latest ‘Magic Quadrant for Cloud-Based IT Project and Portfolio Management (IT PPM) Services.’
EPM Live and PowerSteering are the two Upland IT PPM applications evaluated in the research. This recognition is the first for Upland Software that it won out of the 11 vendors of cloud-based IT PPM software assessed in terms of their completeness of vision and ability to execute.
PowerSteering can be deployed for top-down program and portfolio management while EPM Live can be implemented for execution-level project management and collaboration, depending on the focus and scope of the IT Project Management Office (PMO).
IT organizations, for example, can deploy PowerSteering for top-down program and portfolio management or EPM Live for execution-level project management and collaboration, depending on the focus and scope of the IT PMO. For holistic, real-time visibility and transparency, CIOs can also combine Upland’s PPM tools with ComSci, Upland’s IT Financial Management application.
“We are proud to be recognized as Visionary in Upland’s inaugural placement in the Magic Quadrant for Cloud-based IT Project & Portfolio Management Services,” commented Ludwig Melik, President of Upland Software. “We believe this validates our unique approach of offering innovative solutions that can be used in stand-alone fashion or deployed together to truly optimize resource allocation, execution and costs across the entire IT portfolio.”
