Verint Enhances its Situational Awareness and Video Analytics Solutions
MELVILLE, NY: Verint Systems, a provider of hardware and software products for security, surveillance, and Business Intelligence (BI), introduces various improvements in its situational awareness and video analytics solutions. These changes are directed towards improving end user experience and security operations for organizations.
Verint’s Situational Awareness Platform is a security solution, which helps in increasing awareness, safety, and operational efficiency. This upgrade improves visualization to security personnel for higher levels of security and risk reduction. Being a unified software solution, Situational Awareness combines device relations, location data and integration, user management and data retention - all under one umbrella to provide intuitive security and intelligence solution.
Some of the other features introduced in the Situational Awareness include incident timelines that visualize every alert of an incident, video mapping that allows users to see what is happening and where, a gallery that automatically arranges all the files associated to an incident in one place, tile views of search results and overlay of search on maps to help operators locate the event area and customized user interface that is restored when the user logs in after logging out.
Adding to this, Verint has also introduced a new feature into its Video Surveillance Analytics owing to which operators can examine the video after an incident with highly detailed parameters that can help in forensic investigation. In addition, the enhanced functionality can help operators find relevant information faster hence improving the efficiency of forensic investigation.
“The Verint Situational Awareness solution helps organizations create a comprehensive and familiar operating picture to help improve overall security and business awareness, streamline responses and enable operators to more effectively and efficiently perform their jobs, both in emergency scenarios and during routine day-to-day operations,” says Brian Lettiere, VP, Product Management, Verint Systems.
