VigiTrust Introduces Foundational Risk Assessment on VigiOne Platform
Organizations can now evaluate their assets’ risks before assessing how they line up with legal, industrial, and safety protocols and take steps to meet all relevant regulations.
FREMONT, CA: VigiTrust, an award-winning provider of SaaS solutions for Integrated Risk Management, released its flagship platform, VigiOne, with new Asset Register, Risk Register, and Dynamic Assessment features. Organizations can now evaluate their assets’ risks before assessing how they line up with legal, industrial, and safety protocols and take steps to meet all relevant regulations.
“Our new tool suite allows organizations to define their scope, calculate their risks, and create an assessment to ensure that they are continually compliant with all relevant regulations,” said Mathieu Gorge, Founder, and CEO, VigiTrust. “Unlike competitive solutions, VigiOne is highly customizable, empowering users to edit and add questions and draft their own risk management templates while still being connected to the regulations. It also allows them to demonstrate compliance to multiple standards through a single assessment, rather than having to answer the same questions over and over for each regulation.”
VigiOne has traditionally allowed organizations, through its ongoing monitoring, evaluations, eLearning, audit, and reporting features, to plan, verify and maintain their compliance with security and data privacy requirements and regulations. To help build a Continuous Compliance Program, the platform now extends its scope to include the measures before compliance management: specifically, addressing the questions, “What are the threats my company faces, and what will I do about those risks?”
The new tools include:
Asset Register: Allows users to register all organization assets, from physical security and IT structures to operations, prestige, and IP, and delegate responsibility for each; firms may also implement current asset registers into the VigiOne platform.
Risk Register: Users identify each level of hazard, vulnerability, and effects, and VigiOne measures a risk score by domain automatically; it also helps companies to integrate inherent risk thresholds for each asset and implement risk treatment controls to assess residual risk per asset.
Dynamic Assessment: Maintains asset models for each requirement and rule, including pre-defined templates, and provides companies with a mechanism to build their own evaluations that can be automatically or manually mapped to and monitored against all existing regulations.
