Virtru Offers Revolutionary Solution to Strengthen Security
WASHINGTON, DC: With the aim of securing customer keys stored on Hardware Security Modules (HSMs), Virtru, a provider of end-to-end email and file encryption, introduced general availability of its patent-pending Hardware-Backed Encryption Key Management (HEKM) service. This level of security and control was traditionally reserved for the largest enterprises in the world but now any business can control and manage encryption keys by themselves.
Virtru now safeguards digital keys and lets clients to leverage exclusive control of keys that protect security-critical data using HSM-backed encryption keys without any hindrance in the performance of cloud-based collaboration tools.
The advance feature Virtru Pro offered by the firm takes email encryption to another level, it has an airtight email encryption system with user friendly and secure send button. It is also incorporated with email forwarding control and expiration date. The Virtru HEKM can be effortlessly merged with the Microsoft Outlook, Gmail and Google drive without disrupting the content creation and sharing process. In addition to the Virtru HEKM, encryption keys give direct control to the customers.
"Virtru is dedicated to privacy and control without sacrificing convenience. The Virtru HEKM builds on this tradition, giving security-minded organizations a trusted solution to protect their most sensitive data in the cloud," said Will Ackerly, CTO and Co-Founder of Virtru.
Any random content shared via email or through cloud storage services can be secured by leveraging Virtru and the enterprise offers software development kit (SDK) that provides integration with any third-party platform, as well as existing integrations into Microsoft and Google environments.
