VirtualPBX's Award-Winning Softphone App Update Heightens Security and Performance
Fremont, CA: VirtualPBX continues its legacy of providing innovative products with ingenious usability into the hosted telecom industry with their recent deployment of the updated VirtualPBX Softphone App with numerous feature enhancements.
"Of course with every update we have the first priority as the Softphone App's safe, clean operation of our customers' core services," said Lon Baker, VirtualPBX COO. "But this update drives far beyond the critical bolstering of security and operating system compatibility."
The new product drives its appeal from the addition of two new key features to the Softphone App. Firstly; an always-on network condition indicator has been added that can notify users of the strength of the data connection they're operating on.
"VirtualPBX Softphone App users are inherently on the go and won't always know they will have a network option that is as reliable as their options at home," continued Baker, "that's why a network strength indicator is critical for users who value high quality voice clarity on their phone calls."
Secondly, minimizing the app on Android now allows users to have a expedient, one-tap return option to their ongoing call via the new floating call display.
"Most mobile users run multiple programs concurrently, so a quick touchstone to return their phone calls like the floating call display makes it easier to use." Baker added.
The addition of these two features in-tandem helps deliver improved functionality devised for business travelers and aims to further enhance the VirtualPBX reputation. Other than the fresh security updates and matching compatibility features for the latest Android and iOS OS, these enhanced facets help slot in the VirtualPBX Softphone App with the Dash platform released earlier this year.
