iENSO has appointed Vlad Kardashov as its new Vice-President of Engineering to increase the Edge network's growth.
FREMONT, CA: iENSO, an embedded vision collaboration partner for important international brands, has recently appointed Vlad Kardashov as its new Vice-President of Engineering, and it is expected that it will push the Edge network's future.
"We are adding critical talent to iENSO's executive team to lead both our software and hardware R&D organizations and accelerate our product development efforts for the network edge," said iENSO President Sebastien Dignard.
Michael Liwak, the co-founder of iENSO held the position of Vice-President of Engineering, but when Kardashov assumed that position, he settled down in his new role as Chief Products Officer.
"Vlad has tremendous experience in developing new Vision and Edge AI products and solutions for industry leaders such as FLIR and Lorex," Dignard added. "His extensive experience in the security and IoT industries aligns well with our efforts to expand our presence in all markets looking to embed Vision into their applications."
"I have been impressed with iENSO's technology, culture, market position, and the capabilities of its technical team," Kardashov said. "I am happy to join the company at such an exciting time and look forward to contributing to the ongoing development of Embedded Vision and Edge AI computing systems."
Before joining iENSO, Kardashov served as the vice-president of engineering at FLIR Systems for four years. It is the world's largest organization specializing in designing and producing imaging cameras, components, and thermal imaging sensors for the defense, security, industrial, and commercial markets.
Kardashov even managed large-scale, worldwide-distributed product development and engineering teams with the help of a product's development cycle, from the beginning to the final deployment.
"Vlad's experience makes him the ideal choice to lead the next phase of growth for iENSO as customer needs in a host of market verticals increasingly meet at the crossroads of Embedded Vision and Edge AI," said Dignard.
Before committing to his position in FLIR, Kardashov was the director, engineering, and product development at Lorex for four years. He was also the vice-president of technology at Emblaze Mobile, a design house for cutting-edge mobile technology.
