VMS Software Introduces SWAT Team to Assist Customers in Maximizing OpenVMS Performance
FREMONT, CA: VMS Software, developer of OpenVMS, announces formation of OpenVMS Performance SWAT Team to help customers maximize the performance of their OpenVMS-specific configurations, applications, databases and networks.
OpenVMS is a multi-user, multiprocessing virtual memory-based operating system (OS) designed for use in time sharing, batch processing, and transaction processing.It is used for various purposes including mail servers, network services, manufacturing or transportation control and monitoring, critical applications and databases and environments where system uptime and data access is critical.
The Performance SWAT Team is a group of experienced technical experts in the OpenVMS community who will provide technical services with respect to tuning of OpenVMS system, Oracle database optimizations, customer application source code performance enhancements, network communications improvements, and other mission critical performance area. The team will also assist in complex OpenVMS installations that integrate with systems running other operating systems.
