VMware Product Suites Sets the Stage Rolling With an all New Cloud Management Platform

PALO ALTO, CA: VMware in its latest move has once again outdone itself in the cloud infrastructure arena, by announcing the general availability of VMware vRealize Automation 7 and VMware vRealize Business Standard 7 solutions. The services will work in the direction of transforming digitalization within their organizations.  

The recent releases along with VMware vRealize Operations 6.1 and VMware vRealize Log Insight 3 works in progression to address the cloud management demand. The vRealize product suite works efficiently to meet the requirements across day one day two operations in heterogeneous as well as hybrid clouds. It indeed shortens the workflow process by bringing it down from weeks to less than a day.

VMware vRealize Automation 7 offers key functionalities that enable IT and DevOps authorities to promote the delivery process of integrated multi-tier applications with network centric- approach. It offers unified service blueprint solution that facilitates designing of infrastructure, networks, security, applications. The platform is integrated with VMware NSX 6.2 in order to auto-configure networks and micro-segmentation. It extends hybrid cloud based support for VMware vCloud Air and Amazon Web Services (AWS). Further it also strengthens VMware vCloud Government Service and AWS GovCloud, OpenStack Kilo, and VMware vSphere 6 Update 1. The service can be edited as text files to assists implementation of DevOps. In addition it cuts through the installation time and simplifies the deployment process.

The vRealize Business Standard 7 platform, on the other hand introduces the required competency in providing IT teams with enhanced transparency and control over the costs and quality of the services. It attributes new costing and pricing policies, for private and public clouds that are supported by vRealize Automation. The ‘showback’ capabilities promises organized cost reporting to the Line of Business. It also develops accuracy in projecting cost analysis in a month-to-date and monthly basis, as well as the costs filtered by business services to provide business context. The cost optimization functionalities evaluate the cost of used and remaining capacity by data center and hence allowing modeling of new workloads.
