SAN FRANCISCO, CA: In current business scenario, there is a gradual shift from a world of predictable, incremental, and linear change to that of radical and discontinuous change which seems to have global implications; organizations are always challenged to seize opportunities while managing new kinds of risks like protecting data and brand reputation. Converting this present scenario into an opportunity, VMware introduced two new game-changing software in its cloud and virtualization platform at the recent VMworld event. The level of IT standard has accelerated with Vision Solution releasing Double-Take Cloud Migration Center and ExtraHop building on its virtual application performance management solution.

Vision Solution’s Double-Take Cloud Migration Center solution supports migration from any source to VMware vCloud Director and also joining with it is a real-time wire analytics provider, ExtraHop- which delivers virtual application performance visbility.

The former product is brought into service to help migration from any physical, hypervisor or cloud-based environment to the cloud and automate cloud image provisioning and set-up to installation and cut over. It also protects workloads into a vCloud Director managed cloud with a service-based solution that scales easily to meet requirements for enterprise and service provider environments. The solution's real-time replication also allows live migrations for improved productivity while providing the capability to test cut-overs in advance of the migration.

"With a full REST API for easy configuration and integration into self-service portals, the Double-Take solutions simplify complex data and workload migrations for cloud providers using vCloud Director," says Tim Laplante, Director of Product Strategy, Vision Solutions.

Whereas ExtraHop strengthens its virtualization platform to help IT teams better understand performance impacts, reduce personnel hours associated with virtual deployments, and maximize value for the organization. The platform provides real-time, end-to-end visibility across the entire application delivery chain, including on-premise, virtualized, and cloud environments.

The key benefits from ExtraHop virtual application performance management include real-time comparative analysis of virtualized instance performance against the baseline. It also has the ability to quickly identify the virtualized application and understand performance from end-user prospective. It also helps large technology company accelerate production and rollout by 30 percent.
