VuWall Introduces the All-in-One SDVoE Encoder/Decoder VuStream 510
A Two-Way SDVoE Streaming Appliance Provides Unparalleled Flexibility for Secure Transmission of Uncompressed 4K Video, Distributes HDMI and DisplayPort Sources Across AV Networks With a Single Compact Appliance
FREMONT, CA: VuWall, a market leader in video wall control systems and unified visualization solutions, adds the VuStream 510 appliance to its VuStream encoder and decoder family. Fully SDVoE compatible, the VuStream 510 encodes and decodes in the same tiny, all-in-one device, giving system designers and workflow designers unprecedented flexibility. It broadcasts 4K60 4:4:4 digital video and audio without latency over ordinary IP network switches and supports auto-switching between DisplayPort and HDMI.
"When we introduced the VuStream lineup, our goal was to provide customers with interoperable, flexible and open-standards-based appliances to support the various requirements found in a single application," says Mark Schmidt, CTO of VuWall. "The VuStream 510 continues that mission, accommodating customer needs by allowing organizations to replace traditional matrix switches with a more flexible, highly reliable and ultra-scalable solution."
The VuStream 510 series is a simple-to-deploy solution that enables the extension, switching, and compositing of real-time signals over conventional 10Gb network gear. Compared to proprietary matrix switches, this technology allows for a new and enhanced signal distribution method, appropriate for applications requiring both high quality and low latency. Combining this solution with the VuWall TRx centralized management platform streamlines device management and deployment, saving substantial time and money for system integrators.
As an SDVoE streaming appliance, VuStream 510 is compatible with other SDVoE-enabled solutions from third parties. It is offered in fiber (VuStream 510-F) and copper (VuStream 510-C) configurations, which allow uncompressed 4K video streams in the 4:4:4 video format, including HDR, and secure data transport using end-to-end AES 128-bit encryption. The comprehensive streaming device supports transceiver mode, which permits simultaneous encoding and decoding of streams and a loop-through output. Additionally, it is fanless and compatible with USB 2.0 and HDCP 2.2 for the most advanced connectivity and digital rights management.
"As an SDVoE member, VuWall exemplifies the steadfast commitment of the alliance to create SDVoE technology that brings interoperability in AV distribution and processing," says Justin Kennington, president of the SDVoE Alliance. "The VuStream 510 appliance accelerates the replacement of the traditional matrix switch while providing customers with incredible system design freedom that supports the highest quality and security of 4K video transmissions."
