FREMONT, CA: Wahsega Labs, a designer and manufacturer of the Voice over the Internet (VoIP) endpoints, launches IP Paging Zone Controller with InformaCast to enable users easily send simultaneous broadcasts to amplifiers in multiple zones.

The IP Paging Zone Controller with InformaCast is an IP endpoint that utilizes the power of Singlewire Software’s InformaCast Advanced Notification System for multiple notification scenarios, from bell schedules to emergency lockdowns. By recognizing and registering the Wahsega IP Paging Zone Controller, the InformaCast server software instantly receives pages in high or low-quality audio, both live and pre-recorded.

The IP endpoint is powered through Power-over-Ethernet to support live, pre-recorded or ad hoc broadcasts of high-quality and low-quality InformaCast audio. Its internal circuitry has a rugged aluminum housing with three standard 35mm DIN Rail slots for easy mounting in any orientation on bottom or side and can withstand industrial operating temperatures from −40°C to +85°C. It can be configured through an included Web interface, accessible via any browser on any device in the local network.

The IP Paging Zone Controller with InformaCast is available in a single channel or 2-channel box with the latter having the ability to play two separate audio announcements over speakers in different zones across multiple floors or even multiple buildings. The solution is perfect for schools or any other large, multi-building campus.
