WestconGroup Expands its Portfolio with Increased DDoS Protection for Security Solution Providers
FREMONT, CA: In an effort to keep up with the demand for providing ingenious security solutions, WestconGroup, a distributor of unified communications, network infrastructure, data center and security solutions, has expanded its portfolio across Europe.
In order to achieve this goal, the two companies- WestconGroup and Arbor Networks, a provider of network security and management solutions, have come into agreement. According to the terms of the agreement, WestconGroup will leverage DDoS and advanced threat protection solutions from Arbor Networks.
"Arbor is primed to accelerate its growth at a time when solution providers and their customers need the ability to research, detect and mitigate network-based threats on a global scale," says Anthony D'Angelo, Vice President of Global Partner Management, Emerging Vendors and Incubation,WestconGroup. "With joint investment from both companies, the incubation program provides them with the infrastructure and the support to make that happen."
According to the new agreement, European solution providers have access to a broad offering of Arbor solutions, including: Arbor Pravail, Arbor Cloud and Arbor Peakflow. Arbor Pravail delivers a broad, integrated set of network visibility; threat detection and mitigation; incident response; and forensics capabilities to help secure the enterprise in its battle against DDoS and advanced targeted attacks. Arbor Cloud delivers an integrated combination of on-premise and cloud-based mitigation for protection from the full spectrum of modern DDoS attacks. Arbor Peakflow provides a single view across a provider's entire network from the customer edge through the backbone and into the mobile packet core.
