Fremont, CA: Red Hat, a leading provider of open source solutions now has more than 1000 clients successfully leveraging its OpenShift Container Platform.

Red Hat OpenShift caters to a wide range of customers across diverse industries across the globe. Telecommunications, logistics, finance, aerospace, travel, retail, healthcare are just a few among them. Last year alone, the number of customers has doubled for Red Hat OpenShift platform, the company said in a statement.

To further solidify its leading status in the area, the company has announced the arrival of the next-gen enterprise Kubernet platform, the Red Hat OpenShift 4.

Why Red Hat OpenShift 4 Matters?

According to surveys, the worldwide application container industry, which was worth about $1.5 billion last year is experiencing transformational growth. By 2025, the market is expected to grow at a CAGR of 26.5 percent.

This faster rate of growth in the industry is fuelling intense competition among the players.

Companies are trying to leverage this opportunity by incorporating cloud-powered technologies. Although used extensively, cloud-deployment is often challenging. Many OpenShift deployments turn complicated due to presence of multiple clusters. Additionally, these clusters may be on multiple cloud. OpenShift 4 is designed to tackle this concern through an innovative hybrid cloud console using which the clients can analyze and manage several OpenShift clusters.

The fully integrated OpenShift 4 platform will provide cloud-like ease through full-stack computerized operations across hybrid cloud. OpenShift 4 also has the deployable capacity on all significant private and public cloud platforms. It will allow users to start their work instantly, with just a few cicks..
