wywy and AppsFlyer Connects to Measure Impact of TV Campaigns on Mobile App Installation
NEW YORK CITY, NY: wywy, TV syncing advertising and analytics solution in collaboration with AppsFlyer, a mobile advertising attribution and analytics platform have launched a new tool allowing advertisers to measure the TV ad campaign impacts on mobile App installs.
The strategic partnership will create real time insights into TV campaign’s effectiveness. The focus of this agreement is on integrating wywy’s real time TV ad detection data into AppsFlyer’s TV comprehensive tool. It will bring a major transformation for advertisers by connecting TV and app marketing.
wywy will detect TV advertisement instantly it airs and will deliver data in real time through its TV monitoring network. AppsFlyer will access that information made available by wywy. Assuming the installation occurred within the window of opportunity configured by the advertiser AppsFlyer will give credentials to TV network.
"App companies have embraced TV advertising, but to date there hasn’t been a reliable way to attribute a television ad’s effect on app downloads accurately and in real time,” notes Dr. Andreas Schroeter, wywy’s COO and co-founder. “With currently available TV measurement tools, the correct attribution of app download is especially hard.”
Teaming up with AppsFlyer can help advertisers track and monitor user’s post install activity within the app. It allows advertisers to access that information to measure the value generated by the TV campaign. They can also compare it with other channels in a single real time dashboard and effectively optimize the information.
Oren Kaniel, AppsFlyer’s CEO and co-founder adds, “With the wywy integration, AppsFlyer allows advertisers to finally measure the ROI of their high cost TV campaigns and compare them to other channels to better optimize their entire marketing mix."
