X2CRM Launches New Software with Workflow Automation and Knowledge Base Module

FREMONT, CA: X2CRM, an open source CRM software and services company, launches version 5.2 of its CRM software. With the new version, the company introduces features including workflow automation macros, a new topics knowledge base discussion board and overall improvements to the X2CRM core platform to improve customer experiences across sales, marketing and service departments.

The other latest features of CRM software 5.2include: new themes & color coded modules; calendar enhancements; new documentation and training videos; updated and improved administration panel; weblead and email widget for activity feed dashboard; and import or export of worksheets for mass record updates.

Topic/Knowledge Base Module:

With the help of X2Workflow Record Macros, users can create record specific workflow Macros to perform actions on individual records. By combining unstructured content such as product information, or competitive product discussions among users and relating them to individual customer contact records, users can create new discussion topics, add content, attach files and even relate topics to individual customer records.

The new X2CRM version will be available both as an open source CRM application as well as in two commercial versions of cloud and download editions.
