Xilinx Announces Programmable Professional Video Solutions for Broadcast and A/V Market
FREMONT, CA: Xilinx announces that it is delivering a comprehensive suite of solutions for advanced video system development that will enable broadcasters and professional audio/video (A/V) markets to create an immersive experience beyond 4K for its audience.
The programmable professional video solutions from the Semiconductor company will enable any media over any network. Designed for 4K/Ultra-HD and 8K/Super Hi Vision platforms, the new suite of solutions include video processing, development boards, and ‘any to any’ video connectivity empowering designers to build ultra-high quality video systems for the broadcast and professional A/V markets.
Features of the new suite of advanced video system development include: comprehensive video-specific development platforms; suite of ‘any to any’ video connectivity; advanced video processing for 4K/Ultra-HD and 8K/Super Hi Vision. The video processing suite performs key functions such as de-interlacing, scaling, and overlays and support refresh rates up to 60 frames per second. It also enables designers to add their own differentiated video algorithms. Dense multichannel products can be created by implementing multiple instances of the video processor.
