SAN JOSE, CA: Zinwave, a provider of in-building coverage solutions introduces a New National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) 4/IP 66 rated enclosure for its wideband DAS Remote Units. The solution makes Zinwave UNItivity DAS solutions compliant with public safety wireless system regulations.

National Fire Protection Act (NFPA) compliant provides safety against falling dirt, rain, sleet, snow, windblown dust, splashing water, and hose-directed water common in firefighting operations. Similarly, the NEMA 4/IP 66 enclosure ensures compliance with NFPA and IFC Code requirements.

NFPA compliant is necessary for most of the public and government buildings. The latest Zinwave enclosure ensures that it consist of banding options for various band combinations including 150/450/700 and 800 MHz radio use. It also comes with integrated fiber splice tray; 2 NEMA 4 rated pass through fiber and alarming ports, an optional integrated power supply and optional 24 hour battery backup.
