The company’s flagship product, ProcessMaker, is workflow software that assists businesses of any size with designing, automating and deploying different business processes from a single software suite. “We realized that open source was the most frictionless way to allow new users to start using our product so we made ProcessMaker open source. Within a few years it became one of the most downloaded open source BPM products in the world,” extols Reale.
ProcessMaker features an extensive toolbox which provides the ability to easily create digital forms and map out fully functioning workflows. The software is completely web based and accessed via any web browser, making it simple to manage and coordinate workflows throughout an entire organization-including user groups and departments. It can also interact with other applications and systems such as ERP, business intelligence, CRM and document management— giving a unified experience. “With the additional benefit of it being open source, ProcessMaker Enterprise clients can take advantage of a fully supported, high quality BPM suite,” he adds.

The objective of every ProcessMaker implementation is to enhance business efficiency
ProcessMaker is excited about its new version of its BPM & Workflow suite that is going to be launched in April of this year. It has a number of important improvements including a new user interface, a new drag-and-drop form designer, native apps for iOS and Android, and a greatly expanded REST API, and a number of improvements designed to improve scalability of the product. “We continue to try and streamline the user experience to make sure that ProcessMaker is very simple to use but robust enough to be used to solve important process problems,” says Reale. Also, as ProcessMaker is already present around the world through a strong network of partners ProcessMaker will continue to grow its channel to deliver more specialized solutions on top of its BPM suite. “Also, now with our expanded REST API, we believe ProcessMaker is a much more viable option for large OEMs looking to add a BPM engine to their existing product offering,” he concludes.
