Of the nearly 5,000 attendees gathered for the opening session of the American Academy of Pediatrics’ (AAP) annual event, there wasn’t a dry eye after a powerful performance by pediatric medical students and children of “This Is Me” from The Greatest Showman. With the theme of bullying, the academy wanted to create an emotive experience in the first moments of their event. Having been partners for 36 years, AAP knew they could rely on Projection to assist them in developing and delivering the audiovisual (AV) elements to do just that. The Projection team came through with flying colors; the opening left attendees inspired towards their work in pediatrics and excited for the rest of the meeting.
